Ghost Story Flash Fiction Event

by E.V. Jacob on December 15, 2012

It has been decided–in large part by my Twitter pals, @JLLicea, @EliseValente, @danica84, and @seeredwrite–that I shall host a flash fiction event, and that the theme will be ghosts!  As my collection of “For Friends” short stories all pretty much feature ghosts (or the elements of ghosts), it seemed fitting that I should have more stories on this blog about ghosts.

SO ANYWAY, the details for said flash fiction contest can be found below:

Length:  Up to 1,000 words

Due Date:  11:59 pm, Friday, December 21st, 2012 (I’m on Pacific Standard Time)

Other Details:  It…has to be a ghost story.  That’s basically it.  Any and all other paranormal insanity is encouraged!

You inspired me to write a ghost story for your review to be included in the collection you’re posting. Ghosts are not a theme I explore often. I will get it cleaned up and presentable for you. Thank you for having an open submission.

Fantastic! I love hearing that people are pushing their boundaries and exploring new topics–I did that in my short, GYPSIES, PRANKS, AND THIEVES (http://tinyurl.com/cy2r7vj) where I wrote a story wherein no one died, went insane, or had their entire lives ripped apart. In fact, it’s actually supposed to be funny AND happy…totally not my usual style o.O

I can’t wait to post yours! Thanks for entering!!

<3 Working on it. I'm the slow one, always. I have three ideas, I'm trying to see which I should write about. Or, all three together!
    GOT IT!
    *Screams* *Gets to writing*
