Aaand we’re 1/10 of the way done with this thing.
Today I wrote a bit (about 550 words), and also continued on my character profiling. Slow going, but that’s what happens when you’re overly thorough and a hopeless perfectionist.
Again, I have to be careful not to let profiling become something I fall into, cycling through it endlessly while feeling productive, when actually it’s a way to do nothing and feel accomplished.
Also: Felt less like death today. Which was nice. Still up at ungodly hours, though, which isn’t going to help me feel any better!
Anyway, glad I got some work done today, hope I’ll get more done tomorrow (but I have a lot of freelance work to get through, so I’m being optimistically realistic…which is totally a real thing). I’m turning in for the night.
