I GOT MY CHARACTER PROFILES DONE!!
YES.
They are basic, and I only got the Main Six–Lilith, Judith, Roark, Erik, Adrian, and Mason–but it’s a start and it’s a thing that’s DONE.
I discovered a lot of things about my characters tonight…and I already knew them quite well! I love the little surprises they reveal as you spend more and more time with them.
But mostly, I love these character. A big, big part of my desire to work on this story was a yearning to spend time with this bunch. They are just so awesome–hilarious, crazy, ridiculous, brilliant, courageous, and downright awesome. They’re some of my favourite people, and I can’t wait to introduce them to you guys.
For now, just know that you’re going to have a lot of fun with this bunch.
(These guys are so fun, I actually want to start a companion webcomic to the books, so I can display some of their antics that will, sadly, probably not make it into the novels.)
Working with the Main Six always makes me happy, and fires me up to start writing!
I think tomorrow, I’ll work on the profiles for some of the supporting characters–the adults, and the villains–to flesh out the characters so I can write a truly complete story.
OK. It’s late. (In fact, it’s technically Day 7, but shhhh, shhhhhh…we can ignore that…) I’m off to bed, so I hope you all had good days, too!
