Isn’t it exciting how you still have 72 more of these to look forward to?
Today was actually productive! Yay! We’re still not actually using the 90-Day Novel book (heh), but we ARE making progress, and you’re just going to have to live with that.
This was a “take all that research you’ve been doing and actually use it” day, so we sat down with my character profiles and ancient languages and named the empires! It might not sound like much, but it’s going to make outlining so much easier when I don’t have to put “Country 1″ and “Country 2″ in my notes.
I still don’t know certain crazy, secretive characters’ real names, though. Sigh.
Actually, today wasn’t just about deciding empires’ names–it had a lot to do with finalizing the cultures of these empires, and the backgrounds of my characters (respective to where they were born and where they live now).
Also, deciding upon the aftermath of a World War is fun (more on that later).
So in reality, today was super-productive because a lot of history got sorted out and established for the book. Yay!
Also-also, we found a way to make the title make EVEN MORE SENSE, which is awesome. I still don’t want to tell you, though–not because I’m being a ~super secret paranoid writer~ or anything, I just want to have it all ready for this epic big reveal!
Oh! Oh! Did you notice how it’s NOT midnight?? And I’m already updating this?? I AM GROWING UP SO FAST, YOU GUYS.
OK I’m going to leave you to…whatever it is you do when you’re not reading my blog (which is probably, like, crying and wondering what the point of your existence even is. Right?)
