This is a great character study. You give the character motivation for committing an act that is at once unforgivable yet merciful. It is easy for us as readers to say we would never do what Anna did, but we live in a different world than she did.

Love the title and the story was excellent. We especially loved the prayer being interrupted with the actions. It made it more chilling.
